TRAVERSE CITY MBSR - Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction - Spring Session (8-week class)

From 6:00PM to 8:30PM

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction or MBSR is an 8-week, evidence-based program that offers secular intensive mindfulness training to assist people with a host of stress-related issues related to physical, emotional and psychological conditions. Mindfulness is a powerful tool, helping one develop a different relationship towards stress and the ability to more skillfully navigate through life’s inevitable challenges. This practice of moment to moment awareness and waking up to one’s life with clarity and deeper insight untaps essential inner resource for living a happier and more balanced life… with greater contentment, inner peace and ease. This class along with ongoing practice throughout the week, trains attention and cultivates awareness providing one with positive coping tools needed to become strong and resilient in both body and mind.This is a hybrid class and is being offered in-person as well as online via Zoom.MBSR classes includes:Orientation Session (1 hour)8 – MBSR Class Sessions (2 ½ hours ea.)Full Day Mindfulness Retreat
